Soloist in The Mozartists Concert: 1771— Mozart’s Perspective
November 22, 2021 @ 7:30 pm
Ian Page’s ground-breaking MOZART 250 project continues with a fascinating survey of Mozart’s activities in 1771. The vivacious programme features symphonies and arias that he wrote himself as well as highlights from operas by Paisiello and Hasse that he heard during the course of his travels in Italy.
Ian Page conducts his dynamic period-instrument orchestra, and the soloist is the exciting young American soprano Emily Pogorelc, winner of multiple awards and here making her London concert debut.
